Introduction
As a therapist for many years I understand how difficult, taxing and isolating this work can be and how important it is to receive supportive and caring supervision, consultation and training to help us achieve the kind of work that we want to do with our clients.
Over the last two decades I have expanded my clinical practice to include supervision, consultation, presentations and training for interns, social workers, case managers, school personnel and psychotherapists. Whether it be for one consult, extended supervision or training, I thoroughly enjoy helping professionals expand the talents and the learning that they already possess; and, helping them to feel accepted and supported while reducing the feelings related to practicing in isolation.
Since 2004 I have trained with Dr. Daniel Hughes in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) a therapy and parenting approach that utilizes attachment and trauma theories and interventions to help children and families foster healthy relationships.
Under the supervision of Dr. Hughes and others I have received certification as DDP Practitioner, Consultant and Trainer.
